Historic Route and Tanzania
Day 1: Dar es
Salaam
Meet the drive for a Pick up from the airport and transfer for a sleep over in Dar es salaam. Dinner and overnight will be at Hotel golden tulip city center.
Day 2: Dar es salaam - Mikumi
Morning after breakfast, then drive to Mikumi National Park Pickup from golden tulip hotel, Mikumi National Park (Approx. 4 hrs. drive). Hot lunch at Morogoro hen drive straight to the national park for half day game drive in the evening check inn Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian.
Day 3: Mikumi National Park- Ruaha national park
After breakfast, depart for Ruaha National Park will stop for lunch in Iringa.. The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffe, buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope, leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here including Eurasian migrants such as red billed woodpecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha hill top.
Day 4: Ruaha national park
After breakfast go for a full day game drive at Ruaha hill top, where you may be able to spot the big five includes elephants, giraffes buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope, leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal, wild dogs which are rare spot and mostly found in the Ruaha national park. After an amazing game drive back in the evening. Get back in the lodge for Dinner and overnight at Ruaha hill top.
Day 5: Ruaha – Selous game reserve
After breakfast depart to selous game reserve Africans largest game reserve which is most popular with large number of elephant families, lions, buffalo, wild beast and the population of wilddogs which are mostly found in this reserve. You shall have an in route game drive before arriving at the camp for check. After check inn proceed with an evening sunset boat safari. Back in the hotel for dinner and overnight at jimbiza .
Day 6: Selous game reserve
Morning break fast the depart for a full day game drive, Selous is a home to large population of elephant, big number of buffalo and wild dog. Other species commonly seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, Kudus and Crocodile after the game drive overnight will be at Jimbiza camp.
Day 7: Selous game reserve
Early morning breakfast, then go for early morning walking safari before the departure back to Dar es salaam hot lunch then taken to the airport for your flight.
